To acquire equitable and sustainable governance in school, Aplaya Elementary School’ new administrator, Mr. Manolito V. Sale, Sr. opened his first day of duty with a warm and positive vibe towards the 24 teaching personnel of the school.
January 15, 2019, was the first official day of the newly installed School Principal of Aplaya Elementary School as a replacement of the outgoing Principal, Reynaldo V. Magan which is now assigned to Lagonglong Central School. Mr. Sale was the outgoing school head of Luz Banzon Integrated School and replaced by Mr. Tituz Cruz of Dayawan Elementary School in Villanueva District. The movement of all PSDS’s and School Heads of the entire Division of Misamis Oriental by Sir Randolph B, Tortola, the Schools Division Superintendent, opened a new horizon of learning and experiences for educational growth and worthwhile service to teachers and school children.

Aplaya Elementary School is currently administered by MANOLITO V. SALE, SR., the Principal of the school. It comprises 24 faculty members and 1 administrative aide. It has a total land area of 9,442 square meters which compounded with 17 different school buildings.
The school is in its 59 years of service to the fellow inhabitants of Barangay Aplaya and still counting because of the stakeholders' positive responses to its committed projects and programs which resulted to progress and betterment of the school and this is for the sole welfare of the community's treasure-hold which is the school children.
The School Principal, Reynaldo Vega Magan appeared as the presentor of the said regional competition, the Best Innovation in ICT in SLAC Session.
The collaborative efforts and untiring support of stakeholders really outpoured pride and and dignity to the school and to the community.

The official Video Entry for the Best ICT Innovation entry for School LAC Sessions. Aplaya Elementary School ranked 3rd in the 1st Regional ICT Summit Inter-Division Competition held at Grand Caprice, Limketkai, Cagayan de oro City last November 20-21, 2017.
